Info: Are you curious about the world of entrepreneurship, but not sure where to start? You are not alone. In the last year, HeSIE ran several sessions with PhDs and Postdocs across the Helmholtz Association and created a mini workshop tailored to the capabilities and curiosities of scientists, who are intrigued by the thought of founding their own thing. In this session, we will debunk common start-up jargon like MVPs or KPIs, shed light on potential alleys from academia into founding your own or joining a promising venture and provide you with a hands-on introduction to two of the most useful tools to pave a successful start: assumptions mapping and job-to-be-done.
