Info: We are daily confronted with shiny new “AI” tools that are supposed to make our lives easier. What tools are actually useful as part of the academic process? What problems can they cause? How can AI tools be used ethically? We will explore the use of AI tools in literature gathering, textual understanding and summarization, code generation, text creation, text editing, data analysis, and in image and video generation. The ethical problems that arise at each stage will also be discussed.
